Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited is a holding company owned by the Fauji Foundation, an endowment for the benefit of retired Pakistan Army soldiers. Its core business is manufacturing, purchasing and marketing fertilizers. It also owns Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim, another fertilizer manufacturer, as well as shares in other Army-owned businesses engaged in energy generation and banking. The Company’s segments include fertilizers, power and food. The fertilizers segment is engaged in buying, manufacturing and distributing fertilizer. The power segment is engaged in producing and selling power. The food segment is engaged in processing fresh and frozen fruits, vegetables, frozen cooked and semi cooked food. The Company’s product portfolio includes urea fertilizer, sulfate of potash fertilizer, di ammonium phosphate fertilizer, renewable energy, financial services and processed fruits and vegetables. The Company operates an approximately 49.5 megawatts (MW) wind power generation facility. The Company operates over three urea plants with an aggregate capacity of approximately two million tons per annum.
